KJKP Toplane Sarajevo District Heating system
Cantonal Public Utility Company KJKP Toplane – Sarajevo is the largest district heating system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The district heating system is very specific. It consists of a large number of bigger and smaller area boiler plants with independent distribution networks. There are different types of systems: hot water or warm water, depending on size of facilities, with thermal capacities of particular boiler plants ranging from 600 kW to 56 MW. Within Toplane’s system, there is no cogeneration system for combined heat and electricity production.
